On 10 June 2023 we will once again enjoy a beautiful crossing in a natural environment defined by cliffs and coves of crystal clear water, the ultimate expression of Costa Brava. A race with distances of 7 km, 3.5 km, 1.5 km and KIDS.

Equipment

It is mandatory to wear the official cap that you will receive in your swimmer’s bag.

 

The organisers will provide you with a bracelet with your number which you must wear on your wrist.

 

Optional. Although if you decide to swim without wetsuit you must state this when you register and prove that you are able to do so. The sea temperature in Barcelona at this time of year is between 16ºC and 18ºC.

 

 It is compulsory to wear the chip on the ankle with a chip holder.

Transfers

7:30 1st transfer for participants bib numbers 1 to 100 Begur, Vinya de l’Artiga car park -> Aiguablava
8:00 2nd transfer for participants bib number 101 to 200 Begur, Vinya de l’Artiga car park -> Aiguablava
STORAGE: You will have to leave your bag in the conditioned cloakroom when you get off the bus, before going down to the beach. It is essential that you mark your bag with the label provided by the organisation with your participant number.
From 12:00 to 16:00 shuttle bus will be running from Sa Riera to Begur.

IMPORTANT:

1. Swimmers who come by their own means must respect the times indicated for their departure.

2. The participant who does not pass the chip control will not appear in the classifications.

3. No changes will be admitted at the start.

4. The organisers reserve the right to change the transfer system to ensure the smooth running of the race.

Departure

Before the start, the organisers will provide water, SAFE SEA sun cream and Vaseline.

No race bibs will be given out at the start.

There will be a cloakroom service.

The start will be from land. Each participant’s time will be counted as soon as he/she crosses the timing mat.

MARNATON eDreams Begur 3,5 km by Herooj

Technical details

Transfers

For the 3.5 km crossing, the transfers will be carried out in the following order.

Transfer from Begur, Mas Gispert car park (Carrer Mercuri) to Sa Tuna:

  • 8:30 1st transfer for participants from bib 551 to bib 700
  • 9:00 2nd transfer for participants from bib number 401 to 550
  • 9:30 2nd transfer corresponding to participants from bib number 250 to 400
  • from 12:00 to 16:00 shuttle making trips from Sa Riera to Begur, Mas Gispert to be able to recover the vehicle.

STORAGE: You must leave your bag at the point provided for this purpose at the start. It is essential that the bag is marked with the label provided by the organisation with your participant number. Participants travelling in the third shift are kindly requested to board the coach already changed.

Transfers

The transfer from Sa Riera to Pals beach will be on foot along the Camí de Ronda, a fairly steep route that requires good footwear (not flip-flops).

At 11:00h two guides from the organisation will accompany the swimmers.

2. The participant who does not pass the chip control will not appear in the classifications.

3. The organisers reserve the right to change the transfer system to ensure the smooth running of the race.
