Equipment

It is mandatory to wear the official cap that you will receive in your swimmer’s bag.

The organisers will provide you with a bracelet with your number which you must wear on your wrist.

Optional. Although if you decide to swim without wetsuit you must state this when you register and prove that you are able to do so. The sea temperature in Barcelona at this time of year is between 16ºC and 18ºC.

It is compulsory to wear the chip on the ankle with a chip holder.

MARNATON eDreams Ibiza by Baleària 8 km

Technical details

Transfers

Transfers for the 8 km race will be by coach, leaving at 8:30 am from the main door of the Official Hotel on the beach of the port of Sant Miquel.

IMPORTANT:

1. The organisation reserves the right to change the transfer system in order to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Departure

The start of the MARNATON eDreams Ibiza 8 km will take place at 10:00h from Cala Xarraca.

At the start you will find: A van/guardhouse where you will have to leave your bag marked with the label and your participant number. There will also be a point with water and Vaseline. And finally, next to the van there will also be portable toilets.

IMPORTANT:

1. Swimmers who come by their own means to the start must also pass the chip control in the place that corresponds to their cap colour.

2. The participant who does not pass the chip control will not appear in the classifications.

3. No changes will be allowed at the start.

MARNATON eDreams Ibiza by Baleària 4 km

Technical details

Transfers

Transfers for the 4 km race will be by coach, leaving at 9:00 a.m. from S’Arenal Petit beach (arrival).

IMPORTANT:

1. The organisation reserves the right to change the transfer system in order to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Departure

The start of the MARNATON eDreams Ibiza 4 km will take place at 10:15h from Cala Xarraca by acoustic signal.

No race bibs will be handed out at the start.
There will be a cloakroom. It is essential that the bag is marked with the label provided by the organization and has the number of participants.
The start will be in rolling start format.

IMPORTANT:

1. Swimmers who come by their own means to the start must also pass the chip control in the place that corresponds to their cap colour.

2. The participant who does not pass the chip control will not appear in the classifications.

3. No changes will be allowed at the start.

MARNATON eDreams Ibiza by Baleària 2 km

Technical details

Transfers for the 2 km race will be by coach, leaving at 11:30 am from the main door of the Official Beach Hotel in the port of Sant Miquel.

IMPORTANT:

1. The organisation reserves the right to change the transfer system in order to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Departure

The start of the MARNATON eDreams Ibiza 2 km will take place at 12:30h from Cala Benirrás.

At the start you will find: A van/guardhouse where you will have to leave your bag marked with the label and your participant number. There will also be a point with water and vaseline, as well as portable toilets.

IMPORTANT:

1. Swimmers who come by their own means to the start must also pass the chip control in the place that corresponds to their cap colour.
